I bought thinkpad t410 (2516cto) and just finished the installation of opensuse.
I havn’t noticed some incompatibilities yet, but there’s no wireless. the wireless card is :Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6200.
Anyone has any clue what’s the reason? seems that the card was not recognized in opensuse yet. Maybe it’s pretty new?
It looks like you are on the bleeding edge here. The Intel DOC’s do claim it works with Ubuntu. A look for a Linux driver or Firmware updates just says you will be notified. Perhaps it will work with openSUSE 11.3 when it comes out. I also found a few people that indicated they had to use it in Windows and upgrade the firmware, but not sure what firmware version they were uploading into the card.
Thank You,
Thanks man. I’m also found it works fine in fedora 13…
I don’t know what if fedora 12 64bit
Thanks a lot! do you mean this file “driver:wireless.repo” is the patch? how to apply it?
