no Wi-Fi. Ralink rt3060

Hello, i’m new to Linux.
After installation, I installed the driver for device 3060. I do not know what to do next for Wi-Fi.

Hi

I would have preferred to see the results of

lspci -nnk

instead of just lspci, but assuming it turns up that your network controller has ID [1814:3060] you can try to install the package
rt3562sta-kmp-<yourkernel> (you are running openSUSE 11.4? You did not tell us) from the repository
Index of /repositories/driver:/wireless/openSUSE_11.4 and see if this helps.

But before installing anything you better check your kernel version with

uname -a

and ask back in case of any doubt.

I just see in your post:

I installed the driver for device 3060

Do not follow my post #2 for now, but report what exactly you did install as a driver for 3060.

lspci -nnk

Someone reported success for your Ralink device in this post:

Ralink rt3562sta on openSUSE 11.4

but he took the module from tumbleweed and updated his kernel. The module I mentioned in post #2 is the same, but built for plain 11.4.

oh, where are i can choose my wi-fi connection? >_<

Good to hear that it works for you. I could not try it, because I do not have this hardware.

Now try to configure your access with Networkmanager (this is KDE, right?).

yes, it’s KDE
all what i know is:
name/password
must be use TCP/Ipv4

and in network manager active tab only “vpn”, all over are disabled(

it’s ok, i did it) thanks for responded)
