In Firefox when I try to play a video I a get error messages.
Here’s a video I can’t play in Firefox: https://www.epictv.com/media/series-home/climbing-daily/230997
because I get this error message: Error loading player: no playable sources found.
But I have errors in VLC too. Here I get error message about “codec not supported”.
May be I need to install more codec?

Did you do the “vendor switch to Packman”?
It is described in the sticky threads at the top of this sub-forum.
Not so clear which of the sticky messages I have to follow.
From Welcome to multimedia sub-area I went to http://opensuse-community.org/ and tried “KDE codecs with 1-click”. But it seems that conflict (between vlc and ffmpeg?) avoid installation of package suggested.
If you have not added the Packman Repo, try this as root:
zypper ar -f -p 20 http://packman.inode.at/suse/openSUSE_Leap_15.0/ Packman
If you have added the Packman Repo as above or with a 1-Klick Installation now as root:
zypper dup --from Packman
Packman is the Name of the Repo as shown above, you have to see, how it is named in your Installation.
And at least:
zypper install -f libxine2-codecs ffmpeg-3 lame dvdauthor gstreamer-plugins-bad gstreamer-plugins-bad-orig-addon gstreamer-plugins-base gstreamer-plugins-good gstreamer-plugins-good-extra gstreamer-plugins-libav gstreamer-plugins-qt5 gstreamer-plugins-ugly gstreamer-plugins-ugly-orig-addon vlc smplayer x264 x265 vlc-codecs vlc-codec-gstreamer ogmtools libavcodec58
Please do not break any dependencies.

Now this is the Guide:

Thanks a lot, now I can see videos.
