No video after changing to different computer then back Tumbleweed computer with KVM

This is a bit odd.
If I change to a different computer on my KVM switch and back to the computer I have Tumbleweed installed on my video is gone. This is a hardware switch. It’s not KVM software.
If I control-alt F1 I get a console. IF I control-alt F7 the KDE desktop is gone. Blank black display. I have to power cycle to recover.
I’ve disable all screen dimming and blanking in Desktop Configuration and turned off the Screen Locker in Desktop Configuration.
This is a clean instal of Tumbleweed done last night. Packman Essential are in my repos.

What controls this behaviour and how do I disable that? I don’t want video to ever, ever blank, dim or otherwise go away.

Thanks,

Resolved issue by switching to different hardware.
Same KVM different computer in place of one being used to run Tumbleweed

Originally I solved this problem by installing a Nvidia Graphics Adapter and not using the Intel graphics adapter that is part of the system I’m using.
Today afters a zypper up my problem returned.
I think I solved it by turning DPMS off.
I found the tip to doing it here https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Display_Power_Management_Signaling

I modified monitor.conf in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d adding the following:

Section "Monitor"
    Identifier "Dummy"
    Option "DPMS" "false"
EndSection

Section "ServerLayout"
    Identifier "ServerLayout0"
    Option "StandbyTime" "0"
    Option "SuspendTime" "0"
    Option "OffTime" "0"
EndSection
