no updated linux-kernel-headers

Hi,

I have update to the latest kernel 2.6.31.8-0.1-desktop, but I am missing the kernel-headers. I have installed linux-kernel-headers-2.6.31-3.4.noarch.

This is preventing installing vmware on my workstation.

Where can I get the latest linux-kernel-headers?

That is the latest linux-kernel-headers version. Note that this simply contains the include files used for compiling user space programs, that’s why it doesn’t change often. If you need to compile something against the kernel, like a module or in your case vmware, chances you want the kernel-desktop-devel or perhaps the kernel-default-devel package matching your running kernel.

Hi
Those are the correct linux-kernel-headers, 2.6.31 is the critical
version number.
