No update because Phonon conflict phonon-vlc-qt5

Sorry, but I don’t understand this post either. Which packages are not available via the Videolan repository?

Similar report in Bugzilla resolved WFM.

@matbhm if I wanted an un-encumbered VLC I would get everything from the Videolan repo and skip using packman (or just use the flatpak version)

vlc works and upgrades like a charm:
