I can not run any operating system on the computer that I created.
From there I went to someone else’s operating system, I get the same error again.
As I receive an error.
"r600_cp: Failed to load firmware “radeon/PALM_pfp.bin”
drm:evergrenn_init ERROR Failed to load firmware!
radeon 0000 :00 :01.0 : Fatal error during GPU init
Support for cores revision 0x17and 0x18 disabled by module param allhwsupport=0. Try b43.allhwsupport=1 "
What should I do to correct this error. What do I need to add or remove packages. Help please.
Trouble is we have no idea what you did in SUSE studio or even why you would want to do anything. Even though SUSE studio is user friendly it does not mean you don’t have to know how to build an OS.
Have you tried the LiveDVD or the actual DVD installation?
Have you only tried images from the SUSE Studio?
The radeon error isn’t necessarily the problem at all, it could be related to other issues such as a broken ACPI implementation or bugs in the kernel related to your hardware.
Computers Packard Bell - EasyNote TE-BZ11
RAM: 4 GB
Graphics: 1 GB - AMD Radeon HD 6320
3.16.7 as the core, 3.16.6 File, 3.15.4 I tried. All the same results
I tried writing as a live CD and DVD. Work on my own computer, I can not reverse the virtual machines you do not draw the same time my real machine. I do not think there is a problem in hardware. Earlier in this machine Ubuntu, Fedora, and CentOS and I’ve run smoothly install video card drivers.
I have never been able to resolve this error: /
I’m not quite sure I understand what you’re saying, I was asking whether you downloaded the openSUSE 13.2 LiveDVD or the actual installation DVD and installed using that? The DVD offers additional Failsafe parameters that allow fine tuning it for hardware that may have compatibility issues with a specific kernel version.
The images made in Studio are not always equivalent to what you’d get from an actual installation.
Already what I’ve been talking about it. I tried SuSE version 3. I’m talking about openSUSE with its own distribution. And all of them I get the same error
SUSE is the commercial version and you do get professional help installing it with the paid subscription
Also you mentioned a VM are you installing it to a VM? Totally unclear what you are doing with a VM. What VM???
Unfortunately you are not making it clear what your problem is with the normal distribution. SUSE studio allows you to custom build a distribution based on openSUSE and SUSE. If you are trying custom built images randomly selected it is hard to say what you have and what the expected target is. What we are telling you is to try the standard openSUSE distribution. Maybe try the live Gnome version and see if it runs from the install media
