No transparency in Konsole

Hi,

Just installed OpenSuse TW and I can’t get the konsole background to be transparent no matter what I put in the transparency scrollbar.

I’m running nvidia 1070 with the drivers from the nvidia repo.

It is not the first time I install TW but it’s the first time I’m experiencing this issue.

Any ideas ?

  1. Check whether compositor is used.
  2. Set renderer to OpenGL 3.1.

Yes the OpenGL compositor is set at 3.1

In fact, setting it at 2.0 or 3.1 changes nothing.

Works for me but I don’t have nvidia
