No suitable software for Video DVD?

I have just bought a Video DVD from a Swiss publisher. There is no indication on the cover of the technical prerequisites except the DVD/Video logo. On loading it to my desktop PC running it is recognised as a Video DVD by Nautilus but no App is found to play it:

Unable to play the file
DVD source is required to play the file, but it is not installed.

The search for the DVD source yields the message:

Unable to Find Requested Software
Unfortunately, the DVD source you were searching for could not be found

I am directed to the OpenSuse Tumbleweed downloads which suggests the xCHM package, but this is not compatible with my Leap 15.3 configuration.
The packman and Gnome: Apps repositories are configured, but there is apparently nothing compatible there.

What can I do ?

Is VLC installed? When yes, did you try it?

Yes it is. No I didn’t :(. VLC works! :). Thanks for the tip.

It seems that Kaffeine was the default.
