No Stereo sound running the Live CD...

HI everyone, I plan to install SUSE 11.1 in my Acer Aspire and I have to say that just being and posting in this forum-community is very cool.

I successfully downloaded the liveCD GNOME, and of course I tried it first without installing, EVERYTHING works in my laptop, just the “problem” is as I mentioned in the title, when I open sound configuration only shows “mono” and not more options for more quality sound settings, is that normal?..when I make the install, stereo settings or more quality audio options will appear?

Acer Aspire 5810tz 4GB RAM 300 HD, U2700@1.30 GHz

Thanks in advance

More than likely, the answer to that is yes. But it may require configuration.
FYI the DVD will give a more complete install initially. It’s OK to use the CD though.

OK I’ll try the installation, and see what happens.

Thank you very much
