No Sound option or icon in yast or yast2

Hi,

When I go to yast2->hardware, I don’t get the Sound icon, so I can’t choose my default audio card.
I tried also yast (command line), same result.
The sound works great, but at I have to choose manualy the right card at boot time.

If you can open yast - Software Management and search

yast

then in the resulting list from the packages menu, do update all in this list unconditionally.
see if that sorts it
