I have a SB Live! 24bit and Realtek AC97 onboard… I was using Ubuntu Prior to OpenSuse with no issue… With OpenSuse I get this error from trying to test system sounds…
audiotestsrc wave=sine freq=512 ! audioconvert ! audioresample ! gconfaudiosink: Could not open audio device for playback.
However the system shows both cards in configuration… Any help would be GREATLY appreciated…
Ok… After a lil time messing with a few things… I’m able to get the Realtek Onboard sound to work… However the system still detects that my SB Live! 24bit is there but with no sound at all…
