no sound in pink pony game

Hi,

I’m running opensuse 13.1 kde
I downloaded the game “pink pony”
from the repository and there is no
sound, the game works fine there is just
no sound, I can hear all my other games
fine, seeing if there is anything i can do
to fix it to hear the sound,

Try running the game from a terminal, so you can see any warning/error messages. If there’s something, post here.

Just installed it, and there’s no sound. The terminal output is no help also.

I’ll see if I can do something and post back here.

Well, I couldn’t get it to work with pulseaudio or alsa.

All the music and sound files are in the package.

The configuration file in ~/.config/pony.options has no audio settings.

SDL_mixer, a dependency according to the README file, is installed, both x64 and -32bit packages (libSDL_mixer-1_2-0).

Sound works normally in other applications.

Nothing shows on Google except a brief mention in an Arch package discussion that someone got it working with pulseaudio (padsp).

I’m out of ideas, sorry.

I installed it as well just to see if sound was working.

Tried all sorts of combinations about SDL using alsa, oss, pulse.

Even added the “volume” variable but could not get any sound out of it :frowning:

Sorry.
