alright this is something that has been bugging me for awhile now and have searched countless articles,but nothing works. first 9 times out of 10 if my system sound notifications work, sound in flash does not.Also 9 time out of 10 if I click on “play sound” on the notification I get the following message (or something to the effect) HDA intel (ALC883 analog) does not work. Falling back to default. now what could it be…it almost seems like the hda intel is incapable of running sound in flash and the notifications. (and also changing the sound device preferences does nothing) so you guys have any ideas, because I’ve been stumped on this one for awhile.
Finally!! figured it out just uninstalled libflashsupport and it works fine now (though system notification sounds don’t always work but that doesn’t really bother me) hope this is able to help someone out

oh yeah sorry disregard my last post firefox just crashed on me and I lost sound right before it did but it works fine now
