No sound for firefox and videos - Tumbleweed GNOME

Hi,
Can anybody help me with troubleshooting no sound/audio for videos I am playing with apps like kaffeine/vlc/xine? I also have the same problem with firefox. When I test sound through YaST2>Hardware>sound>Play Test Sound, There is no problem and I here the music but with kaffeine or Videos no sound output.

I have to mention that I’ve gone through the following page to fix it but it had no result:

https://forums.opensuse.org/showthread.php/523476-Multimedia-Guide-for-openSUSE-Tumbleweed

One more point, when I try to test the sound through
settings>Sound>Test Speakers>Front Left or Front Right Buttons, again I have no result and I hear nothing.

Hi
If you fire up YaST -> Hardware -> Sound do you see your sound cards
present (and Not Configured, which is fine)?

In the GNOME settings -> Output is there a device present and also a
profile selected?

Yes I see my sound card present. It has the following specs:
6 Series/C200 Series Chipset Family High Definition Audio Controller

  • Configured as sound card number 0
  • Driver snd-hda-intel

Yes, a device is present that is:
Digital Output (S/PDIF) - Builtin - Audio
And Profile is:
Digital Stereo (IEC958) Output

I found a fix for it!
Of course I have to admit that totally by chance!
I unchecked Enable PulseAudio Support in YaST2>Hardware>Sound>PulseAudio Configuration and the problem is fixed.
