no sound after suse 11.1 install

i re ran the script as superuser as per your advice and it updated and ran properly (i think)

ok i opened the mixer and everything except the pcm was muted once unchecked i re-ran the speaker test with positive results.

I’ve done a couple KDE4 installs and each time I had to enable “audio” in user management. It’s the first openSuSE release I’ve had to do this.

Oh, and you don’t have to do it in Gnome.
