No sound after resume from hibernation

Hi

I have an IBM Thinkpad T23 running openSUSE 11.0. I lose sound on resuming from hibernation. Any suggestions how to resolve this?

When that happens, if you type in a gnome-terminal or konsole:
su -c ‘rcalsasound restart’
does your sound come back?

I’m not knowledgeable on fixing hibernation problems, but I suspect it would help others monitoring this thread a lot if you explained what desktop you are using? KDE4 ? KDE3 ? Gnome?

I am using Gnome.
