no network connection

hi …
I had work well with opensuse 11 and the internet also work well … but when I turn off my computer and then use the XP and work with it , I find out the connection with the internet doesn’t work in the opensuse 11
I made a repair and format to opensuse 11 but without any change the net still doesn’t work
CPU Pentium4
motherboard Gigabyte intel 945 S-series
dial up connection

I have no experience with opensuse … so please help me

Does your BIOS have a “Wake on LAN” setting for this device? If it does, turn it
on. On some machines with this option, Windows turns the adapter off in such a
way that Linux does not see the device when it is started.

As you see, reinstallation does no good.

there is no “Wake on LAN” in the BIOS
are there any other solutions ?

Do a BIOS reset, and never run Windows again.

still no connection !!
help !?
