Hey,
since like 3 or so month my KDE 4-4.14 (Plasma 5.5.5) is just not working with any transparency anymore. Not in console background and not in my taskbar or menubar in any window. I googled alot but it seems I’m kinda the only one with that specific problem.
If anybody knows a solution thanks in advance.

IMHO, Leap 42.2 ist sowieso das besserer Produkt.

IMHO, the upgrade from Leap 42.1 to Leap 42.2, especially with respect to KDE, is worth the (little bit of) time needed . . .
Oh I responded in german there I am sorry wasn’t intended.
So I installed 42.2 (On another PC) to test it a bit and stuff, and it turns out there also is every transparent style not working. Execpt for one or two I think.
Also it says "My workspace is not supporting transperacy.
I fixed it! I need to change the switch system panel -> compositor -> and from OpenGL 2.0 to OpenGl 3.1!
I have no idea why it worked because I can’t remember to change that, but it works now!
Edit: With xrender its also working fine. And also with just turning the compositor completly off.
