No more services in OBS?

Hi,

The source download services configuration was removed in the last update? It was a really useful feature. :frowning:

Hi , did you find a solution? I used to add a source checkout service, but I also don’t find it anymore in the webgui. Time to use the command line…?

Hi,

Yes. The _service file still works, only the gui settings are gone; you can create the file manually with the download URL.

Not so easy than using the gui but works.

ok, not much of a gui…
thanks

I also used services and never touched the cli for OBS. Now I am stuck with a “service error URL invalid” message and cannot even edit the _service file from the web. There is also very little in the wiki on how to use the services.

Take a look at osc. Use
osc co PROJECT PACKAGE FILE
to check out and create a local copy, edit the file, then check in again.
