no more flag+label in show keyboard layout and what is ibus for?

Hi guys, on my laptop with 15.3 neon version with plasma System Settings Version 5.23.4 the option flag+label in show keyboard layout in system tray disappeared, or only label or only flag, this is an annoying regression where was very better flag+label
is there a way to have label+flag again?
by the way, what ibus is for? it seems the same as keyboard layout

Get rid of ibus and all will be well.

Addition: disable and mark as taboo only “ibus” package - other ibus packages are needed for Plasma5, GNOME, etc.

Hi, I tried but the dependencies says that I have to uninstall zoom and I need zoom.

Hi, if you intend for disable disabling in the system tray, ibus cannot be disables as others, only show when relevant, always show and always hidden options are available

@Svyatko is talking about removing and tabooing in YaST (or zypper), not about the system tray.
And it is an additional remark to post #2 of @john_hudson with the advice to remove (de-install) it.
