Upgraded a 2nd machine and it didn’t have the same problem. Maybe there were some fixes in between or newer installs are not affected
Affected install was 2+ years old, unaffected ~6 months
collegue of mine had three systems, all three same issue.
Now, there are two places where nsswitch.conf lives.
if /etc/nsswitch.conf contains a b0rked config – it will break.
