No laptop sound (Missing sound card?)

Hi OpenSUSE community,

Installed OpenSUSE after witnessing the travesty that is Windows 11.
Having a jolly time getting everything set up, but the one thing I can’t get working is sound.
After a great deal of struggle I got ALSA firmware installed and I get sound when using Bluetooth. One thing I noted in AlsaMixer is there are no listed cards.
Also here is the ALSA info that seems to be used from what seen: http://alsa-project.org/db/?f=033cd54e96b976d2b44a3fd59333ee408d11b803
Cheers

Install sof-firmware and restart your machine.

I have the same problem in my HP Envy laptop Core ultra 7, but installing sof-firmware does not helped:

This is a Tumbleweed thread. You have a Leap 15.6 box.

You are right. Sorry.
