no kwin effects after installing nvidia driver 180.35

After installing the nvidia driver 180.35 kwin was not working, only with the root user. So I decided to downgrade to 180.29 but nothing changed and so I installed the nvidia driver with yast, but also nothing changed.
Has anyone an idea to completely remove the 180.35 driver and then installing the driver with yast? (maybe this will help)

EDIT: It might be useful to know that I’m using KDE4 Factory.

In a console type su then paste
nvidia-xconfig --composite
nvidia-xconfig --render-accel
nvidia-xconfig --add-argb-glx-visuals -d 24

That doesn’t help, kwin is still not working.
