No KDE

I upgraded my pc with a new hdd (Seagate 250GB SATA) and added 2GB to the existing 2GB. So now I have a Core2Duo with 4GB ram, a hdd of 320GB with WinXP and a 250GB hdd. I wanted to install SuSE on the 2nd hdd. Everything looks good, I can make all the right choices and decisions, but when the installation is complete I get a login screen (looks like a dos-box). I enter my login and my password but all it says is: ‘have a lot of fun!’ and that’s it. No graphics, no KDE as selected. I tried something like ‘startkde’ but still nothing. Does it have something to do with my graphics card, a Club3D Radeon X1300 maybe? All installation screens look all-right.

It’s startx not startkde.
Yes it seems to be a problem with the drivers for your graphic card.
Can you get to KDE id you type startx?
