no internet after update on 13.1

Hi all.

On my work pc i had 12.2 suse and i download dvd start upgrade to 13.1 and evrthig was fine but i dont have internet connection. Network is set up ok but whe i enter ifconfig i dont have eth0.
Ok i do ifup eth0 and for eth0 show up but only 60 sec… and again again again… internet work only 60 sec after ifup eth0 comand… any help?

So you booted the DVD, and choose “upgrade existing system”, instead of
“install”?

Did the procedure complete successfully?

You could paste here the complete output text of running “idconfig”.

And very important, please use code tags for pasting all that. Use the

This is a typo IMHO, should be

ifconfig

BTW that you do not have an eth0 is normal. Naming is different nowadays.

Oh, right. The two letters are close on the keyboard, and of course,
spell-check can not work on commands…

Quite true. We would have seen that in the command output, which is one
of the reasons I asked for it :wink:
