No GRUB without DVD

Hi, I installed OpenSUSE 11.1 on same disk as Windows7 RC. Today I finally removed installation DVD and restarted system but I got W7 boot menu instead of GRUB. I have to use installation DVD to see GRUB and boot OpenSUSE. How can I fix this?

If you are booting the dvd, that is not grub.
You need to explain what you choose from the menu you do see?

Without DVD there is only Windows 7 boot menu so I can boot only to W7. While booting from DVD I can choose “Boot from hard drive” and I will get GRUB afterwards so I can boot to OpenSUSE.

This is very odd. I don’t recall this before. Perhaps someone else may know of or have experienced this.
Nevertheless, it suggests grub was not installed correctly. You should re-install grub to the MBR

I reinstalled GRUB with repair tools from DVD and all is ok - thx
