No FreeIPA available?

I was looking for a smooth integration of distributed User-Accounts in my (SuSE-Linux- only) Home-Network providing SSO and e.g. Serverbased home- directories. So i stumbled to the docs stranding at the ldap/kerberos setup, which is - i would say “challenging”.
I really cannot imagine a company doing the useradministration with command-line tools like dism as described in https://doc.opensuse.org/documentation/leap/security/html/book-security/cha-security-ldap.html

So asking users, what to do to easen this work, they told me about FreeIPA. I tested the docker-install of it, and was very excited about it.

Unfortunatelly, there is not OpenSuSE- Support. Before now getting this one running from source, i may ask:

  1. Is there anyone, who got FreeIPA running on Leap 15.2/15.3 already form source and wrote some docs what to do? The Versions at https://software.opensuse.org/package/freeipa are all inoperable
  2. Maybe there are better solutions to manage LDAP/Kerberos or other stuff for OAUTH? How does the OpenSuSE setup Networks having distributed User-Accounts? Only NIS/NFS without SSO to Apps? Or what could be done to archive this?
  3. If there is noone doing this already - are there Plans to deliver FreeIPA in the Future?

Best Regards, Daniel
