I have been using openSuse 10.3 for a long time and it worked great so I decided to download 11.1. It is beautiful, but I cannot connect to DSL thru my router, or direct thru my modem. I have a Linksys WRT54G router, HP dv6200 laptop with Broadcom 4311 chip that cannot connect either.
Under network, network settings, if I set to ‘User Controlled with NetworkManage’ al the other setting are grayed out. If I change to ‘Traditional Method with ifup’ then other setting are available. I believe I am at a standstill with 11.1 and DSL and wireless and could use some help.
