I have a MSI ATI R4670 videoboard. I am unable to enable desktop effects. Tried downloading and installing driver from ATI. Result was video mess. Tried repairing installation, but to no effect. Have reinsatlled 11.1 kde and still unable to enable desktop effects. Also cannot change composting types as suggested.
