i am missing compiz-emerald for opensuse 11.2. i tried the XGL Repo first, but scince there is no package libcompizconfig-backend-gconf this doesnt work. can anybody tell me where i find emerald packages for compiz?
I got them in the repo:
download.opensuse.org/repositories/X11:/XGL/openSUSE_11.2/
the themes packages too.

after installing these my compiz didnt work any more. so i fallback.
The compiz and the emerald from XGL are working fine for me. I’m using gnome x86_64.
When you install compiz from XGL be sure to go back and make sure you don’t have any compiz rpms installed from any other repository. You probably should also rename the ~/.config/compiz directory, as it holds parameters for a different version.
in XGL libcompizconfig-backend-gconf is missing. how did you go around this problem? since it seems simple-ccsm is using this in gnome.
