No Bootable Files Found

Hi,

I installed openSUSE 11.3 on my iMac along with “Mac Snow Leopard, Windows 7” to make it a “Triple Boot”. But after installing the “GRUB/LILO”, it does not chain with the boot loader “REFIT” that I use. Each time I try to boot into “Windows/openSUSE”, it shows a message: no boot device found, insert boot disc". So why isn’t the “GRUB/LILO” working?

Any suggestions is appreciated.

Ed

Have you installed GRUB on your bootable(the one which contains the /boot directory) partition while installing openSUSE ?

The output of fdisk -l output should be helpful as well…

fdisk -l

Hi,

I partitioned my disk as follow:

60G for mac
8G for /
32G for win
8G for /home
and last
2G for swap

So is it correct for me to install GRUB in sda3(/)

Thanks.

OK - So you started another thread, the same as this one you started earlier today
GRUB/LILO Installed, But Still need Install DVD to Boot into os

Not very helpful!
You just end up getting asked for the same info, like: fdisk -l

And you still have 2 boot flags
