No authorisation after network restart

For weeks I’ve been struggling with this issue: Sometimes I can’t get a wifi connection, because »no password provided«.

Leap 15.1, but current KDE.

I’m using a loopback adress for a remote desktop session. Once in a while the session gets stuck and I can’t reconnect. So restarted the network, but then any encrypted wifi connection fails:

systemctl restart network
:/home/AW # systemctl status network

What do I need to restart else?

After a reboot everything works as expected, the network gets the passwords from kwallet.

What do you mean by your saying you are using a loopback address?
Are you using a proxy or forwarder?

TSU

My problem is that I don’t get a wifi connection after restarting the network. The thing with the loopback address is only the trigger for restarting network.

Try

systemctl restart NetworkManager

TSU

Yes, unfortunately that does not help. Logoff and logon helped…
