Hello, I have developed an audio problem; although continue to get sound with kaffeine and aamrok, firefox recently quit playing sound; no software updates were performed, it just quit. It has always been buggy, like audio would cut out if another program tried to play a sound and firefox and/or aamrok would have to be restarted. this is different though, it’s nothing to do with a conflict it just doesn’t work. It won’t play sound from flash videos from the internet or locally but I can see the vids, and it won’t play mp3’s (these both will play fine with aamrok or kaffeine). It worked fine until all of a sudden, please help! Also, konqueror is exhibiting the same behavior as firefox, and it too used to play sound just fine.
I have already used yast to update anything to do with “codec” “xine” “flash” and “firefox”
