no active partition

Hello all. I installed opensuse 12.1 on my dell laptop this morning and everything was fine until I restarted. Now I get this:

    Booting from local disk...
                  Error no active partition
                  Error no active partition

                  Intel UNDI PXE-2.0 (build 083)
                  PXE-EC8: !PXE structure was not found in UNDI driver code segment.

Can anyone tell me how to fix this. Thanks.

OK how about something about your hardware. Does it have BIOS or uEFI?
