define “good” in terms i understand… Newsleecher i never heard of…
thunderbird works perfect, for me…i’ve use Sylpheed, Pan, Knode and
others…all have their strong and weak points…
others user like different clients, there are long lists of options
available…
one list here: http://forums.opensuse.org/faq.php?faq=novfor#faq_nntp
another: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Usenet_newsreaders
if you want to shop by abilities, see this cite:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_Usenet_newsreaders
and, by the way, all those marked as open source are for openSUSE,
they just may not be in our repos, or may only be found pre-packaged
for some openSUSE version though the search engine at
http://software.opensuse.org/search
oh, and there was a question very much like yours some months back,
see if you can find it…i don’t remember what s/he selected but i
think began by asking for Grabber or Leecher or something like that…
might try searching, kinda like:
http://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Aopensuse.org+"newsleecher"+OR+"nntpgrab"
