As per thread title, it seems NNTP replies are not showing up in the “What’s new” (ie. activity) (unless it’s a new thread?) is this a limitation of the gateway/forum software?

Yes, it’s an issue we’ve always had. The search part of vBulletin
softare doesn’t fully recognize NNTP stuff. If you look in a forum and
click on the LAST POST links that are NNTP it takes you to different
posts too. We’ve looked into it in the past but haven’t been able to
figure out why. The gateway is a really, really old and out of date
piece of code that we’ve had a couple of volunteers update and keep
current, but it’s not perfect.

Thanks - I was just wondering, trying to co-ordinate helping people and sometimes those sneaky NNTP users reply and I don’t notice it!
