This is a unique thread, started Monday, which on nntp shows as two
different threads. I answered on one, thinking it was the only one, till
later I saw the other one, meaning my answers were obsolete.
It is not the only broken thread. They started appearing after the
recent breakage attempt. At the time I thought they were artifacts of
the restore operation, but this thread is recent, not affected by that
operation.

Hi
I don’t see a threading breakage here, with the headers. I do have
a missing post when the gateway was playing up this morning. All looks
good on the primary user interface…

This one is broken on the NNTP side - there’s no references header to
link it back. Probably is related to the gateway issue this morning.

The break point happened at 19:45 my local time, that’s 15:45 UTC. Is
that about the time you mean the gateway had that issue?
I don’t know, I keep seeing half threads. Some of them are old threads
that somebody restarts, but this one was clearly broken. Hopefully you
are right and it is a unique occurrence. Maybe I’m just overtly
suspicious and seeing broken threads when they aren’t O:-)
Yes, I know it is all the same thread because I compared web to nntp sides.
