Nfsrahead repeatedly terminates with sigabrt after 20260312 snapshot

Updated to 20260312 this morning and now my logs are getting regularly filled with coredumps from /usr/libexec/nfsrahead has anybody else seen this? I don’t even have any NFS mounts, just a couple SMB mounts.

Output of journalctl | grep -i "nfsrahead"

I zypper dupped to 20260312 at 9:25, you can see the errors began right after the first restart and have persisted.

Drkonqi really doesn’t seem to like these coredumps, either. Exactly 5 minutes after each nfsrahead coredump, drkonqi-coredump-processor fails on a timeout.

Output of journalctl -b | grep -i "coredump"

I have to thank Cockpit for bringing this to my attention. I installed it this morning and after the zypper dup Cockpit showed me the drkonqi timeouts which got me investigating.

Already fixed and should be available in one of the next snapshots.

Oops. Should’ve looked there first! Thanks

20260314 included the update for nfs-util as part of nfs-client. Happy to report that the issue is gone!
