Hi,
I had have a working nfs4 mount using autofs.
Since an update, I installed recently (sorry, don’t know which one caused it), it stopped working.
I have tracked down that aufofs calls this command
/sbin/mount.nfs4 <Server's-IP-Adress>:/Documents /media/nas/Documents -s -n -o rw
which fails.
I issued the command on the shell, adding an additional -v but it never returned.
I now followed
http://wiki.linux-nfs.org/wiki/index.php/General_troubleshooting_recommendations
in order to track down the nfs4 issues.
After applying
sudo sysctl -w sunrpc.nfs_debug=1023
as suggested
I found the following entry within /var/log/message :
2015-07-05T15:26:24.732021+02:00 samtraveler kernel: 5286.367221] NFS call setclientid auth=RPCSEC_GSS, 'Linux NFSv4.0 192.168.1.13/192.168.1.60 tcp'

Rearding the segfault rpc.gssd I was only able to find a rather old solution for debian based distribuitions recommending downgrading to nft-utils 0.2.3-2.
rpm -qa | grep nfs

uname -a

rpm -qa | grep gssd
results in an empty list.
Any suggestions on how to track down the issue further are welcome!
I tinkered a bit further:
Adding the nfs mount traditionally to /etc/fstab I’m able to mount the share but /var/log/messages shows some errors.
Anyway. I do not like to go back to the fstab-entries and would like to be able to use autofs again.
Hep is very much being appreciated.
