NFS unmount/mount AND NetworkManager - wait for online - AND "stop job is... for nfs folder..."

Fortsetzung der Diskussion von NFS is very slow to start - the same problem for restart and shutdown - very slow:

  1. make a copy from file /etc/fstab :slight_smile:
  2. I’ve change all my NFS mount entries (11 folders) in fstab to:
    …
    ip_nfs_server:/mnt/Documents /home/dolly/Documents nfs x-systemd.requires=network.target,x-systemd.automount,x-systemd.device-timeout=10,timeo=14,x-systemd.idle-timeout=1min 0 0
    …
  3. my restart and boot: systemd…NFS u/mount… successfully and very quick - viewing: /var/log/messages

An other tip: check the NetworkManager.service file for entries:
Wants=network.target …
Before=network.target
and I have comment with # the line:
Also=NetworkManager-wait-online.service
