So, getting used to the Linux environment still…
I just installed something, via the Yast installer. And it closed, and now I have no idea where it installed it and how to start it. No icon showed up in the apps menu in the GUI, and I cannot find the programs files. Any ideas?
The program was the VMware Player
Just type vmplayer in the window at the top of the kicker (start menu).
You may need to con figure it in which case you have to do it in a console…
Type su the root pass then vmware-config.pl.
It will ask a lot of question which you mostly answer yes to.
