Newbie to opensuse

Hi all,

I’m interested to install opensuse after reading several articles about it. But there are some questions I need to ask before really getting my feet wet with opensuse.

  • Can I install from the LiveCD?
  • Does opensuse support Dual screen out of the box?
  • How fast is the boot time? Some people it takes ages to boot opensuse.

I think that will be it for the time being.

Hi Cryovac, thanks for the response.

I need to know whether I can plug my laptop to an LCD screen and use it side by side where the LCD screen will be an extension screen and not a mirror screen. Not all Linux distro support this out of the box without messing around with xorg.conf
