Newbie question about Konsole.....

Hi there

I’m used to using C++ in Windows but I’ve been told to use openSUSE to open a file that I named whelp.cpp.
It says I open it using ./whelp but I cant seem to find where I need to enter this…

I’ve never used any sort of Linux build to open a file so could I get a walkthrough please?
