Newbie query about how to proceed

Hi,
My aim is to try to build a full version of a program called Emc on opensuse 11.3. The program requires a real time linux kernel using RTAI . I have already built a local version on 11.3 without real time additions which the emc people call a simulator.

So I am assuming that I should a) get the 11.3 source, b) get the RTAI source c) get EMC source. I have b & c locally on my pc.

I have created a project on OBS do I now create 3 packages one for each source? I have started by creating a new package called RTAI for the rtai source how do I upload my source files? The webclient seems to only allow 1 file at a time so do I have to use the commandline to do this?
The rtai source is in a cvs repository
anonymous@cvs.gna.org:/cvs/rtai co rtai
So instead can I add this directly and let obs do the downloading?
Similarly for emc which is under git control?
I would appreciate some guidance here.
Thanks
Alan

Ok,
After a bit of reading I realize I have bitten off much more than I can chew at this time. So I will first play around with creating an rpm of the Emc simulator program as compiled and running on my machine and try uploading and building that using OBS then go on from there.
