New user link - Object not found!

After registering for the forums, it was a bit clumsy.

  1. I had to validate my email address twice. The link emailed to me appeared to only validate for suse.com; I had to follow the ‘validate here’ link in the info box on the forums and validate manually on novell.com too. Kinda defeats the point of having a unified login if it isn’t so unified? Nevermind.

  2. There was an info box welcoming me as a new user. It said to read the new user guide (I forget the exact wording, it doesn’t appear any more) which was:

https://forums.opensuse.org/content/section/17-new-user.html

Only that goes to a page that says:

Object not found!

    The requested URL was not found on this server.          If you entered the URL manually please check your     spelling and try again.
