new user and first question...gdmsetup

Just an intro im a a newbie to linux i have tinkered with it a little but not much trying to make the switch to use it as my primary OS. So here is my question im sure its an easy one.

I found a theme i wanted and i downloaded it i ran the gdmsetup under root and browsed and selected the theme…it shows up under the them section…but when go to change desktop background from the gui i don’t see it in there am i doing it wrong to apply it?

Thanks

OK so i may have stumbled on something…looks like what im loading was just a login manager but it said it was a theme? What is needed to change the desktop theme i had these ugly big buttons and layout?

Hi
You can add them via the Control Center under Appearance and press the
install button to browse to the location of the downloaded file.
