New to OpenSuse question

Hi,

Have successfully installed Open Suse 11.0 on a server.
Trying to conf it now but have a few questions:

  1. Autoupdate desn’t seem to be able to connect to the update online
    source - Is there something I have to conf ? I have internet connection
    and it’s up and running.

  2. Trying to find a DHCP server to configure - but cannot find where to
    start.

  3. Is there a DNS server/DHCP available like in NOWS ?

1 ) did you configure updater via YaST ?
3 ) YaST - Network Services - DNS for dns stuff
As for 2, depends on what you want to do

  1. Yes via Yast tried to start the conf online update
    but after the first screen it says that the online service cannot be reached (I’ll post the exact phrase tomorrow from work)

  2. Wan’t to start it but to start the sevice I have to conf something first as the error message says when trying to start DHCP services
