new to open suse, looking for recommended ide, or something similiar

I just started using openSuse, like 5 mins ago. I want to do some php, and python coding. I wonder what do you guys using for that purposes. (like netbeans, eclipse, notepad++ etc)

I do a lot of object oriented php, I use kate. It has a lot of features, I use many of them too.

Umm, one more question;

Can’t find phpmyadmin in repos. Should I Install it manually?

I use xfce, so I need to install lots of other packages as dependencies for kate, so I will pass that one up.

Edit 2:

On a second thought, dependencies totally make just 10mb or so, I wil check it too then.
