New Screen

Well, i just changed my Screen from an old CRT to a LCD screen.
When i use the glxgears function i get more less 800-900. which i think is kinda low.
Strangely, some game i play dropped from 70-80 fps to 2-3.

Thats using a AMD Phenom 9500 X4, 2 GB memory and an ATI HD2600XT.

PD: infact now that i test some more, not even True Combat:Elite would launch.

Have you checked your xorg.conf? did you reconfigure for your new screen
and it has dropped to vesa instead of the radeon driver?

Are you using the propriety ATI modules or the OS ones?

HTH

yeah i was using ATI drivers, not the ones provided by the OS.

How do i configure Xorg ?

PD: every time i type Xorg on the suse search bar i get some kind of error and my bottom bar just dissapears, something really werid

and how can i know if its has changed to vesa? if so, how can i change it back?

thanks
